Can this recover or crack a password I don't know?
No. This is not password recovery or cracking. You must already know the password and be able to open the PDF; the tool simply removes that password so the file opens freely afterwards.
Does my password get uploaded anywhere?
No. The unlocking happens entirely in your browser, so both the PDF and the password you type stay on your own device and are never sent to us.
Why won't it unlock my file?
The most common reason is an incorrect password. Double-check the exact password for that PDF and try again, as the tool needs the correct one to remove the protection.
